📍 Jacksons Cafébar & Guesthouse, Grasmere
🕒 Full Time – 5 Days per Week (Tuesday to Saturday)

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking individual to join our team at Jacksons Café Bar & Guesthouse in the heart of Grasmere.

This is a varied role combining housekeeping and front of house, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in high standards, and likes every day to be different.

Housekeeping (Tuesday & Wednesday)

• Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to an exceptional standard.
• Changing bed linen and replenishing room amenities.
• Ensuring all public areas are clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Reporting any maintenance issues.

Front of House (3 rotating shifts each week)

• Welcoming guests with a warm, friendly attitude.
• Taking food and drink orders and delivering excellent customer service.
• Serving coffees, drinks and meals.
• Operating the till and handling payments.
• Keeping the café clean, organised and well presented.
• Helping create a positive experience for every guest.

• Friendly, approachable and enjoys working with people.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Has excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and happy to work across different areas of the business.
• Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.
